Workday 2022

Great job everyone. We had a great workday and the Whidbey Island weather even cooperated. We had over 50 volunteers show up at the Oak Harbor Fire Station for our kickoff meeting. Then everyone hit the road to various worksites. We had 8 projects going across the North part of the island and worked on a total of 11 homes. Everything from lawn mowing to rebuilding a bathroom from the floor up. We made a difference on the lives of 11 people and families and that is what matters the most. Most of the families we helped are military veterans or widows of a veteran. 

Special Thanks to Home Depot who donated materials for two of the projects and discounted the rest of the materials. In addition a special thank you to those who donated to our fundraiser raffle & auction last month including.
